Who We Are
Brookhaven Lab encourages you to take advantage of its on-site recreation facilities and participate in sponsored social, cultural, and athletic activities. These programs are administered by the Quality of Life Office through the Brookhaven Employees' Recreation Association (BERA). All employees are automatically members of BERA and can vote in the election of board members.
What We Do
Personal and group recreation for the Brookhaven Lab community.
The recreation facilities at Brookhaven are as varied as the activities they support.
They include the swimming pool and gymnasium on Center Street; the recreation park with ball fields and picnic facilities at Fifth Street and Brookhaven Avenue; the tennis courts on Bell Avenue; and the recreation building on York Lane.
